| House & Cameron |
|
Allison Cameron • Is not an only child and has at least one older brother. • She was raised somewhere in the Midwestern United States. • She did her internship at the Mayo Clinic and was in the top of her class in med school. • She was married when she was 21 but only for six months, as her husband died of thyroid cancer that had spread to his brain. • She met her husband after he had already been diagnosed and married him so that he wouldn’t have died alone. • After her husband’s death, she fell in love with his best friend Joe but never pursued anything with him. • She was hired to work for House six months before the pilot episode. • House hired her because she’s good lucking, believing that she shows more dedication because she could have easily rode through life on her looks but instead decided to work hard and become a doctor. Gregory House • Was born to John and Blythe House on either June 11 or December 11 in 1959. • He was born in Ohio, as evident by his social security number (295-13-7865). • His father served as a Marine Corps pilot and moved to various bases throughout House’s childhood. • He has basic understanding of various languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, and Hindi, all of which he presumably picked up during his childhood of moving. • Two of his dad’s stations included Egypt at some point (where he picked up a fascination with archaeology and treasure-hunting) and Japan when he was 14. • He loves his mother and hates his father because he has a ‘insane moral compass’ and abused him with unusual punishments. • He decided he wanted to be a doctor after he witnessed a buraku doctor solve a case no other doctor could. • He studied at John Hopkins’ School of Medicine until he was kicked out for cheating. • After John Hopkins, he attended and graduated from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. • His relationship with Stacey is believed to have started roughly ten years before the series began. It lasted for five years. • Is crippled from an infarction in his leg. At the time, he went untreated for three days because the attending doctors thought he was simply an addict seeking a buzz. • House was completely willing to risk his life in pursuing a treatment that could let him keep his leg but, while he was in a medically-induced coma, chose a safer route that had part of his leg muscle amputated. This ended up being the cause of their breakup. • According to people who knew him before, his attitude was pretty much the same before his accident. • It’s commonly believed that he used to play lacrosse or something similar. • He’s a huge fan of monster trucks and sport bikes. • He’s a fan of the Philadelphia Flyers. • He helped Stacey catch a sick rat in her house and, after curing it, decided to keep it and name it Steve McQueen. • He plays both the piano and the guitar. |
